As a Senior People Analytics Consultant, you will drive the talent strategy at a leading company. Your role focuses on workforce planning, data analytics, and strategic consulting to inform HR decisions. You will work closely with HR and business leaders to leverage data for optimizing workforce metrics and ensure the company's talent strategy meets organizational goals.

As a Senior People Analytics Consultant, you will be a key driver in measuring, consulting on, and shaping our organization's talent strategy. You will leverage your expertise in people analytics, workforce planning, data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization to uncover actionable insights across the entire employee lifecycle. This role requires a unique blend of deep analytical rigor, strategic thinking, consulting skills, and a strong understanding of HR processes and business objectives. You will partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, Talent Acquisition & other HR COEs, and business unit leaders to ensure our workforce is optimized to meet current and future demands.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Workforce Planning:
Work with the Director of People Analytics to develop and maintain sophisticated workforce planning models, including demand forecasting, supply analysis, capacity planning, and scenario modeling.
Analyze internal and external data to identify critical skill gaps, forecast future talent needs, and inform strategic workforce planning.
Partner directly with Finance and business leaders to integrate workforce plans with financial budgets, forecasts, and long-range strategic objectives.
Develop and track key workforce planning metrics and provide regular updates and insights to leadership.
People Analytics & Insights:
Analyze complex people data sets related to talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, retention, etc. to identify key trends and insights.
Design, build, and maintain insightful dashboards and reports using BI tools (primarily in Visier) to communicate key people metrics and workforce trends effectively across the organization.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for HR and business stakeholders.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and predictive modeling to address specific business questions and support strategic initiatives.
Data Management & Consultation:
Act as an internal consultant, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their challenges, define analytical projects, and deliver data-driven solutions.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Stay current on leading practices, tools, and technologies in both people analytics and strategic workforce planning.
Skills & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
Experience: Preferred: 5-7+ years of progressive experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, Workforce Planning, Data Science (with HR focus), or a closely related consultative analytical role. Proven experience applying analytical methods to HR/people-related data is essential.
Analytical & Modeling Skills: Strong expertise in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, forecasting techniques, and data interpretation. Ability to work with large, complex datasets.
Technical Proficiency:
Significant hands-on experience with data visualization/BI tools (e.g., Visier preferred)
Experience extracting and manipulating data from HRIS/HCM systems (Workday & Greenhouse strongly preferred).
Business Acumen: Solid understanding of core HR functions, business operations, and the connection between talent strategy and business outcomes. Financial literacy related to budgeting and forecasting is a plus.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation) and consulting skills. Ability to translate complex data into easily understood insights and influence stakeholders at various levels. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant quantitative or HR field.
Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
Experience with dedicated workforce planning tools/software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, OrgVue, Visier).
Experience implementing or managing people analytics platforms (e.g., Visier).
Prior experience in a consulting role (internal or external)
What We Offer:
The salary range for this role is $106,000 to $145,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may
ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education,
qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the
future.
