Job summary

The Flats on San Felipe, managed by Cushman & Wakefield, seeks a Make Ready Assistant to support market-ready apartment turnover and property upkeep in a multifamily community in Austin, TX. You will assist with painting, cleaning, repairs, and exterior work while delivering excellent resident service and maintaining safety standards.

Travel between properties is required; you will participate in trainings and wear the company uniform, supporting a professional Cushman & Wakefield brand image.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
• Some experience in related field.
• Valid Driver’s License
• EPA 608 -Minimum Type 11, preferred
• Knowledge of Hand tools
• Professional and courteous
• Able to take direction and follow instructions
• Be able to handle emergencies and work late, come in early
• Be a team player and lead by example

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning, repairs.
• Assist staff in projects, including disposal of trash, debris, and snow where applicable.
• Perform exterior maintenance tasks and signage installation/removal.
• Maintain grounds and common areas to keep them clean and safe for residents.
• Report maintenance concerns to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Attend required trainings.
• Deliver communications to residents and provide excellent customer service.
