Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in publishing, media, or a related industry.
• Demonstrated success in both print and digital media environments.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and revenue models
• Proven ability to build and sustain meaningful community relationships
• Deep appreciation for the role and impact of local journalism
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow revenue, audience, and market presence.
• Oversee all aspects of local operations, including advertising, editorial, and digital platforms.
• Lead initiatives to accelerate digital transformation and expand digital advertising revenue.
• Drive advertising sales performance and identify new revenue opportunities.
• Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local businesses, and key stakeholders.
• Serve as a visible and engaged leader representing the publication within the community.
• Ensure editorial integrity and alignment with the company’s mission and values
