Carvana is seeking a Team Lead in Market Operations to run the local hub, overseeing launch, operations, logistics, and brand initiatives. You’ll lead a team of Customer Advocates, driving outcomes and customer satisfaction while shaping weekly and monthly performance strategies.
You’ll manage staffing, performance, and coaching, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver a superior car-buying experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a customer-facing team environment
- 3+ years of management experience
- Proven history of developing and coaching employees
- Experience with strategic planning and process improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Willingness to work on weekends
- Startup-flair and adaptability in a fast-growing company
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Customer Advocates and oversee daily operations.
- Interview, onboard and train new team members; provide guidance and resources.
- Provide performance feedback, set goals and drive improvement.
- Recognize team achievements using organizational tools and programs.
- Generate regular performance reports for upper management.
- Be the go-to expert for the team and support field operations.
- Drive efficient market operations and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Identify and implement improvements in customer and Advocate experience.
- Address complex, sensitive customer-facing issues effectively.
