Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company seeks a meat department associate to keep cases full and fresh, cut and label products, and support customer service in-store. You will train partners, assist with scheduling, and help manage inventory while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED plus food safety certifications; prior meatcutter or trainee experience is preferred. This role is onsite in a retail store setting.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required with relevant work experience.
• Food Handler and Manager Food Safety certifications preferred.
• Experience as meatcutter, apprentice, or manager trainee is a plus.
• Ability to read and operate scales and digital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Keep market and seafood cases full, rotated, and fresh.
• Cut, weigh, package, and label products as needed.
• Train and develop partners, schedule, plan and direct work.
• Review historical data on sales, ads, and promotions.
