Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a dedicated team member to keep market and seafood cases full, rotated, and fresh. You will cut, weigh, package, and label products while promoting exceptional customer service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and required Food Handler and Manager Food Safety certifications. Prior meatcutter or trainee experience is preferred, with physical stamina for standing and lifting throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school Diploma or GED and one or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination.
• Prerequisite experience as a meatcutter, apprentice, and/or manager trainee preferred.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps market and seafood cases full, rotated, and fresh.
• Cuts, weighs, packages, and labels product.
• Promotes product sales through suggestive selling and friendly service.
• Reviews inventory and coordinates with upper management on sales data and promotions.
• Ensures adherence to food safety standards and proper labeling.
