Job summary

Select Water Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Market & Operations Data Analyst in Houston to transform operational, commercial, and industry data into actionable business intelligence that supports strategic and day-to-day decisions.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and clear communication to drive visibility and informed actions across the organization. You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards, prepare recurring and ad hoc reports in Excel, and ensure data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, MIS, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in business analytics, operational reporting, market intelligence, or related oilfield analytics preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, charts, and data-management functions.
• Experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with large or complex datasets and identify data-quality issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting analytical findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational, commercial, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and changes in competitive activity.
• Develop, manage, and continuously improve Power BI dashboards used to monitor revenue, cost, operational, and business-performance trends.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc analytical reports in Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy and usability.
• Create clear graphs and presentations translating data into concise, actionable information for operations, sales, and senior management.
• Maintain and update recurring management reports, dashboards, and supporting datasets.
