Job summary

Mueller Water Products is seeking an Operations Analyst to develop and distribute standard daily operational reports and to consolidate capital project data for leadership review. You will analyze cost-savings initiatives, coordinate month-end revenue projections, and prepare comprehensive reporting packages covering pricing, freight, inventory, and performance trends.

Collaboration with plant teams and quality/operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 4–6 years in operations accounting or finance, business analytics, or a related role.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, data validation.
• Experience building recurring reports, dashboards, or analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute standardized daily reporting for operational leadership.
• Consolidate, validate, and maintain capital project tracking files.
• Analyze cost-savings initiatives and support quarterly reporting for leadership.
• Coordinate month-end revenue projections and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare monthly bookings, shipments, and backlog reporting for leadership.
• Create reporting packages on pricing, freight, inventory, and performance trends.
• Support plant teams with reporting tool setup and ad hoc data requests.
• Partner with quality and operations to expand cost-of-quality reporting.
• Track incentive plan performance and provide concise summaries.
• Coordinate plant-level meetings and leadership report-outs.
