Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of physician practice management and payer relations and credentialing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Experience in financial management, budgeting, revenue cycle oversight, and operational leadership.
• Familiarity with CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, Availity and payer portals.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Ability to travel regularly between local market clinic locations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing and executing strategies that support the physician group operations, including, managing payer relationships and credentialing and payer enrollment processes. Provides support to Practice Managers and clinic staff to promote efficient operations, exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and achievement of organizational goals. Collaborate with providers, Practice Managers, and executive leadership to optimize provider performance, improve patient satisfaction, and align financial goals throughout the designated region. Assumes management of operational tasks, departments, or special projects as requested or required.

1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. May consider direct experience in lieu of degree, solely at the discretion of the hiring manager/supervisor.
2. Five (5) or more years of physician practice management and payer relations and credentialing experience in a healthcare setting required.
3. Experience in financial management, budgeting, revenue cycle oversight, and operational leadership.
4. Familiarity with CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, Availity and payer portals.
5. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and with the ability to learn and navigate the electronic health record system and reporting features.
7. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
8. Ability to travel regularly between local market clinic locations.
