Job summary

John M. Corcoran & Company is seeking a reliable maintenance technician to uphold the quality of one of our properties. You’ll handle routine tasks like appliance upkeep, sensor installations, and cosmetic updates to keep buildings attractive and safe.

As part of the Maintenance team, you’ll respond to daily requests, assist during emergencies, and coordinate with contractors. A passion for fixing things and maintaining safe spaces is essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of the equipment needed to make repairs on the property, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on attitude under pressure.
• Experience or interest in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently.
• Remain ready for emergency maintenance needs, emergency flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins.
• Make repairs in the building to things like doors, locks, tiles, and handrails.
• Monitor and work closely with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain paperwork and invoices related to your work.

We’re looking for a trustworthy technician to maintain the physical condition of one of our properties. As part of the Maintenance team, you’ll help with the requests that come in each day pertaining to the more technical side of the building– like appliance maintenance, smoke detector installations, and light fixture removals. We love to keep our buildings looking beautiful, so you’ll also be responsible for routine cosmetic updates – such as painting, changing screens, and replacing windows.

Work Schedule:20 hours per week, flexible schedule.

The posted salary range represents the full range of experience levels for the position. Candidates with extensive relevant experience (i.e. 20+ years) may qualify for compensation near the top of the range, while those with less experience may fall at another point within the range.

$26.75 - $32 USD
