Job summary

JVM Realty is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our communities safe, functional, and welcoming. You’ll perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and onboarding of new units while collaborating with the property team to ensure high standards of service.

The role requires experience in property maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and the ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment. On-call availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance, building operations, or a related trade.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and teamwork attitude.
• Ability to work on-call shifts, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completing service requests and repairs in apartments and common areas.

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be a key member of the property team, ensuring our community is safe, functional, and beautiful.

• Completing service requests and repairs in apartments and common areas.

ADA Physical Requirements of the Position

• Snow removal to include shoveling and snow blowing walk ways and stairs in the community
• Must be able to perform outdoor job functions in all weather conditions, approximately 25% of the time
• Must be able to lift up to 80lbs, approximately10% of the time
• Must be able to climb stairs, approximately 10% of the time
• Must be able to walk the community grounds, approximately 15% of the time
• Must be able to climb a ladder approximately 5% of the time

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $22-24/hr JVM Management, Inc. determines individual pay within this range based on factors including qualifications, experience, scope of responsibilities, and internal equity.

This pay range reflects a good‑faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined at the time of offer.
