Job summary

John M. Corcoran & Company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the physical condition of our communities, ensure resident requests are completed safely and to company standards, and lead the maintenance team.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, manage supplies and vendors, track units, and participate in on-call rotations to respond to after-hours emergencies, all within budget and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of trade or general building maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations including work orders, inspections, preventive maintenance, and unit turnovers.
• Supervise maintenance, janitorial, and grounds staff to ensure efficient, high-quality work.
• Manage maintenance supplies, vendors, and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Coordinate with the management team to ensure units are accurately tracked and move-in ready.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and address after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and purchase orders.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. On-call rotation required.

Position pay range

$37.20 - $44.25 USD
