Job summary

John M. Corcoran & Company in Maine is seeking a trustworthy maintenance technician to keep one of our properties in excellent condition. You’ll handle routine repairs, cosmetic updates, and everyday requests, from appliance maintenance to painting.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Loves fixing things and making spaces pleasing for occupants, even under stress.
• Able to identify and resolve safety concerns.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently.
• Remain at the ready for emergency maintenance needs, emergency flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins.
• Make repairs to doors, locks, tiles, and handrails.
• Monitor and work closely with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain paperwork and invoices related to your work.

We’re looking for a trustworthy technician to maintain the physical condition of one of our properties. As part of the Maintenance team, you’ll help with the requests that come in each day pertaining to the more technical side of the building– like appliance maintenance, smoke detector installations, and light fixture removals. We love to keep our buildings looking beautiful, so you’ll also be responsible for routine cosmetic updates – such as painting, changing screens, and replacing windows.

What you’ll do:

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently.

• You’re great at identifying safety concerns and solving them.
• As a plus, you have specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC.

Position pay range
