Job summary

JMC, a leading New England real estate firm, is seeking a trustworthy maintenance technician to keep one of our properties in top condition.

You will handle daily trade tasks, appliance maintenance, smoke detector installations, and cosmetic updates to maintain attractive spaces for residents and visitors. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with on-call rotation. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of equipment needed to make repairs on the property, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Loves fixing things and making spaces more pleasing, even in high-stress situations.
• Able to identify safety concerns and solve them.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently.
• Remain ready for emergency maintenance needs, emergency flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins.
• Make repairs in the building to doors, locks, tiles, and handrails.
• Monitor and work closely with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain paperwork and invoices related to your work.

We're looking for a trustworthy technician to maintain the physical condition of one of our properties. As part of the Maintenance team, you'll help with the requests that come in each day pertaining to the more technical side of the building- like appliance maintenance, smoke detector installations, and light fixture removals. We love to keep our buildings looking beautiful, so you'll also be responsible for routine cosmetic updates - such as painting, changing screens, and replacing windows.

What you'll do:

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. On-call rotation required.

The posted salary range represents the full range of experience levels for the position. Candidates with extensive relevant experience (i.e. 20+ years) may qualify for compensation near the top of the range, while those with less experience may fall at another point within the range.

Position pay range

$26.50 - $29.50 USD
