Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience plus 5+ years of prior dispatching experience.

Responsibilities

• Models and ensures Sunbelt safety procedures are followed.
• Hires, trains, mentors, and coaches dispatch staff for pickup/delivery of equipment.
• Manages team work, safety, and performance across market geography.
• Ensures timely dispatch and transfer of equipment and consumables.
• Creates and monitors drivers’ schedules and logs.
• Coordinates with Dispatch Coordinators to finalize rental contracts promptly.
• Reviews daily/weekly driver logs per DOT standards.
• Ensures daily truck inspections and safe driving practices.
• Maintains strong customer service with internal/external clients.
