Hy-Vee is seeking a Market Grille Cook to join our fast-paced in-store kitchen team. You’ll handle hot and cold menu items from prep to plate, keep the case stocked, and prepare orders with care in a customer-focused environment.

You'll thrive in a team setting, uphold sanitation standards, and contribute to an engaging, friendly store experience. This hourly role emphasizes reliability and quality food preparation in a dynamic market grille.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service, greeting customers with a smile.
• Prepare cooking surfaces and all menu items including vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods.
• Place food in hot cases, monitor amounts, and refill as necessary.
• Stay knowledgeable of all menu items and take guest orders as needed.
• Prepare items for upcoming shifts to keep the department running smoothly.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all aspects of Market Grille operation.
• Practice proper sanitation procedures and keep work area clean.
• Order product and supplies as needed or notify managers.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Maintain personal hygiene, dress standards, and Hy-Vee policies.
• Report to work on time as scheduled.
