Marick Mechanical, an Orion Services Group company, seeks a General Manager in St. Louis to lead the market across service, construction/projects, maintenance and sales.

Translate annual plans into disciplined execution, drive growth, protect margin, and develop a high‑performing leadership team while upholding safety and quality. This on-site role requires strong financial discipline, customer relationship management, and the ability to balance commercial growth with operational execution,

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in mechanical contracting, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, or related field‑based service business.
• Demonstrated leadership with accountability for market performance, revenue, gross margin, and cash.
• Experience leading managers and cross‑functional teams in sales, service, operations, or projects.
• Strong working knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, pricing, contracts, billing, and operating metrics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Mansioni

• Own market performance against the annual operating plan, including bookings, revenue, gross profit, operating income, labor productivity, overhead, sales activity, and customer retention.
• Develop and execute the annual market plan in partnership with the President, identifying growth priorities and actions.
• Review market financial performance regularly; identify variances and corrective actions.
• Maintain strong cash discipline by monitoring billing, AR, collections, purchasing, and cost‑to‑complete.
• Establish pricing, approvals, and commercial discipline to protect margin while remaining competitive.
• Lead and support sales leaders in building pipelines, qualifying opportunities, proposals, and closing business.
• Provide leadership across service, construction/projects, maintenance, and administrative operations to meet commitments.
