Banfield Pet Hospital in Austin seeks a market leader to drive performance across hospitals, align OGSMs with Five Principles, and coach Practice Managers to deliver outstanding care.

You will partner with the Director of Veterinary Quality (DVQ) and Area Chiefs of Staff to operate an effective hospital team, ensure a safe and engaging hospital environment, and improve medical quality and business performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Five years of experience in a multi-location service industry.
• At least three years of line manager experience.
• Experience hiring and staffing, leading a variety of people, and developing next level leaders is preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) is preferred.

• Develop, coach, and support each Practice Manager in assigned market to lead hospital teams so the highest quality care and service is provided to the most pets and clients, maximizing efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all practice protocols, policies, and procedures and with all local, state and federal laws, ensuring the safety of pets, clients and associates.
• Responsible for overall hospital leadership and paraprofessional retention within market.
• Develop a PDP and conduct formal reviews of PMs annually; where PM not present, review paraprofessionals.
• Create a culture for exceptional engagement and community with market doctors and leaders; maximize doctor engagement and retention.
• Oversee OGSM performance including financial results; coordinate with DVQ for quality and compliance KPIs.
