Backroads Utah, Inc. seeks a Market Expert to support Trip Experts within the Utah market, providing guidance, training, and real-time systems support.

The ME spends most of the season in-market, facilitating TE deliverables and coordinating with RLs and the TD Team to ensure gold-standard results. In the off-season, the ME offers flexible hours to assist with TE tasks, updates to Ascent and other market materials, audits, and various projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Trip Expert experience in the applicable market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive Trip Leading experience and knowledge of Backroads’ gold standards.
• Expertise in Ascent and Ride with GPS used by TEs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Support all Trip Experts in the Market.
• Serve as a point of contact for systems questions.
• Conduct research and supplier meetings with RLs and TEs.
• Provide field-based support for trip issues and crisis management.
• Lead trips during peak weeks as needed.
• Provide onboarding and hands-on training for all TEs in the market.
