Job summary

CBS² is seeking a Market Director for Minnesota to set the strategic direction and drive growth for the Minnesota market sector. This role leads client relationships, oversees market pursuits, and aligns resources with market opportunities.

You will assemble teams, guide business development strategy, and support budgeting and strategic planning to achieve long-term success. The position requires 10+ years in civil engineering consulting, familiarity with Minnesota markets, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering consulting experience.
• Familiarity with Minnesota municipal markets and regulatory environments.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and project pursuits.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel 25%.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for pursuing and delivering Minnesota market projects.
• Lead and manage client relationships as primary contact for key accounts.
• Oversee business development activities within the market sector.
• Assist in proposal development and project details with PMs.
• Represent CBS² in client communications and maintain visibility on key interactions.
• Coordinate follow-up on active and prospective projects with internal/external stakeholders.
