Job summary

CBS² is seeking a Market Director for Minnesota to set the strategic direction and drive growth in the Minnesota market. You will lead client relationships, oversee market pursuits, and align resources with market opportunities, while collaborating with leadership on planning, staffing, and budgets.

The role involves determining project teams, guidance on budgeting, and participation in annual strategic planning to achieve long-term success. Travel to meet clients is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering consulting with oversight of municipal markets.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead project pursuits.
• Strong leadership, decision making, and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead strategy for pursuing and delivering county, state, and municipal work in Minnesota.
• Lead and manage client relationships as primary contact for key accounts.
• Oversee all business development activities within the market sector.
• Assist in project proposal details with the project manager.
• Represent CBS² in client communications and maintain visibility on key interactions.
• Coordinate follow-up on active and prospective projects.
• Work with Marketing Leader on pursuit meetings and agendas.
