Job summary

Thrivent Financial seeks a Market Developer to mentor and support new financial advisors, guiding them through their first year and beyond to build productive practices.

The role emphasizes joint field work, use of Thrivent tools (Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro, Thrivent Planning Platform), and collaboration with market leadership to drive growth and compliant client-centric advice while enabling advisors to achieve their sales goals. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of solid sales results and providing holistic, purpose-based advice.
• Experience leading groups, presenting and facilitating to drive advisor success.
• Professional designation or progress toward achievement preferred.
• Experience using Thrivent tools and systems; ability to model and demonstrate usage.
• Ability to coach and train new financial advisors using technology.
• Licensing: FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66; life/health/variable lines licensing in market or expected within 90 days.
• Satisfactory background check and clean compliance record.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and own vehicle for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Launch New Financial Advisors into Teams with joint fieldwork and feedback.
• Demonstrate and coach use of Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro, Thrivent Planning Platform.
• Serve as main contact for advisors' sales goals and analyze gaps to grow.
• Help advisors develop/execute marketing plans leveraging relationships and communities.
• Advise activities to achieve sales goals and connect training needs to Thrivent resources.
• Collaborate with market leadership to drive referrals and market plans for growth.
• Conduct interviews to develop quality talent and support market growth strategies.
