Job summary

State Street seeks a Market Data Sourcing and Category Strategy Head (Managing Director) within Global Third Party Management. You will lead a team to create and drive the Market Data strategy, ensuring cost-effective products and services to enable business strategies and negotiating market data contracts.

You will partner with businesses, legal and risk teams to ensure compliance, oversee vendor strategy, and manage end-to-end contracting from negotiation to execution, leveraging global teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s or law degree a plus.
• 10+ years leading global sourcing teams.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop product/service strategy across Market Data categories including pricing and research.
• Develop vendor strategies aligned with product goals and a preferred vendor list.
• Collaborate with Businesses and Corporate Areas to anticipate and meet Market Data needs.
• Perform direct negotiations of large Market Data agreements and manage risk.
• Ensure end-to-end contracting and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Mitigate third-party risk with TPRM collaboration.
