Job summary

Vestis seeks a General Manager to lead a Market Center in Alabama, with full P&L responsibility for rental uniforms and related services. You will drive profitability, oversee service, sales, production, HR, safety and finance, and coach a diverse team to exceed performance targets.

The role requires strategic leadership, customer growth, and hands‑on operations across the location, with travel to support field sites and client opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of progressive management responsibility.
• Experience in operations management in a production facility or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting (P&L, sales, capex).
• Travel up to 50% may be required in a field leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Market Center (MC) with P&L responsibility and $10M+ annual revenue.
• Drive profitability by acquiring new customers and retaining relationships.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and company policies.
• Oversee service, production, sales, HR, safety and finance departments.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and a cohesive cross‑functional team.
