Job summary

The Homestead at Rochester, part of Volunteers of America National Services, is seeking a Cook in Rochester, MN. The role involves food prep for residents, serving at the market bistro, and greeting residents and families, while maintaining daily kitchen operations.

The position offers on-site work with a schedule of 7am–3pm, Monday through Friday, with pay between $23.00 and $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food that meets hospitality and service standards for the community.
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed by the menus.
• Maintains temperature logs, taste panel forms and cleaning schedules.

Schedule: Up to full time hours, every other weekend
Pay Scale: $23.00-$25.00 based on years of experience

Shift is 7am- 3pm M-F

Work in the kitchen prepping and be the market bistro server over lunch and prep the daily offerings and greet residents and families and work register.
