Job summary

Grand Hyatt Denver is seeking a Market Attendant for PM Shift on a part-time basis to support Courier Restaurant + Bar and Courier Market. You will host guests, serve tables, assist servers and manage market duties, including barista tasks, with emphasis on hospitality and accuracy.

Candidates should have open afternoon/evening availability, including weekends and holidays, and be comfortable standing for long periods. The role offers employee benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a first impression for Courier Restaurant + Bar and Courier Market.
• Host, serve, server assistant and market duties including barista tasks.
• Stock cold cases & packaged items; deliver orders to guest rooms; polish silverware and glassware.
• Roll silverware and assist management with various duties.
• Typical hours are afternoons/evenings starting around 3 pm and may extend to 12 am on some evenings; weekends and holidays.

The Grand Hyatt Denver has an opening for a Market Attendant PM Shift Part-Time role. This position will be assisting with Hosting, Serving, Server Assistant and Market duties (including Barista tasks). You will be responsible for welcoming guests and creating the first impression for Courier Restaurant + Bar and Courier Market. Responsibilities include but not limited to creating moments of more for our guests, hosting guests, serving tables, assisting restaurant server, stocking cold cases & packaged, polishing silverware and glassware, delivering orders to guest rooms, rolling silverware and any other duties assigned my management.

Candidates must have semi open availability. Typical hours are afternoons/evenings (starting as early as 3 pm, hours may extend until 12 am some evenings) including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications for this position:

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in a high-volume setting is required.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must have basic point of sales proficiency skills.
• This position requires a considerable amount of standing and walking.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

The pay rate for this position is $22.80.

Candidates must have open availability. Typical hours are afternoons/evenings (starting at 3 pm) including weekends and holidays.
