Job summary

Grand Hyatt Denver is seeking a versatile Event Set Up Houseperson for flex shifts to prepare and dismantle meeting spaces, including tables, chairs, and related equipment. You may work solo or with a team to support events and ensure guest requests are met.

Strong communication and prior customer service experience are essential. Candidates must be able to lift and move items, stand or walk for long periods, and be available mornings, afternoons, evenings, including weekends and holidays.

• This position requires the ability to lift, push and carry moderate to heavy weight on a consistent basis, and involves a great deal of standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting rooms with tables, chairs, water stations, risers, linens, etc.

The Event Set Up Houseperson Flex Shifts at the Grand Hyatt Denver is responsible for working alone or as part of a team to set up and break down meeting rooms with tables, chairs, water stations, risers, linens, etc. An Event Set Up Houseperson has the opportunity to interact with Hyatt guests and assist them with their requests.

Candidates must have the following skills:

• Must have good communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• This position requires the ability to lift, push and carry moderate to heavy weight on a consistent basis, and involves a great deal of standing and walking.

Qualifications

$22.80 per hour.
