Job summary

AstraZeneca plc in Boston (US) seeks an experienced Market Access Operations Specialist to support dispute resolution, SOX controls, pricing processes and audit readiness. You will coordinate payment approvals, vendor setup, and government pricing validation across cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes data review, process documentation, and operational reporting while ensuring compliance with IRA and related requirements. 3+ years' relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, economics, or related field preferred.
• Experience in market access, government pricing, pharmaceutical contracting, SOX controls, or other regulated operational environments is preferred.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data validation, process documentation, and operational reporting are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operational dispute resolution: support identification, investigation, documentation, and resolution of market access operational disputes.
• SOX compliance support: follow established internal controls, maintain required documentation, and assist with periodic reviews.
• Payment approvals coordination: accelerate internal approvals, troubleshoot payment related issues.
• Vendor and customer system setup assistance and validating and tracking of vendor invoices to budget.
• Tricare, VA IFF and Government Pricing process support: assist with data review, pricing, checklists and reconciliation activities.
• Audit readiness and support: prepare documentation, gather records, respond to information requests, and support audit activities.
• Government Pricing validation support: review data inputs, assist with reconciliations, identify discrepancies.
• IRA operational support: support data review, process coordination, and implementation efforts tied to evolving requirements.
• Agreement insights: review contract-related information and provide operational insights for execution and compliance.
