Overview

Love working with numbers? Parkwest Bicycle Casino is looking to hire a Marker Vault Cashier for our Cage Department.

As a Marker Vault Cashier, you will maintain accountability for all cash, chips, and departmental debits and credits on a per shift basis. You will also prepare bank deposits daily. Please see the rest of the job duties below.

Responsibilities

1. Exchange chips, cash, and miscellaneous items, including credits to Satellite, Pavilion, Plaza Gold Room, and Main Cage windows.
2. Maintain accountability for all checks cashed within the casino.
3. Balance marker accounts daily on a per-shift basis.
4. Balance players’ bank accounts daily on a per-shift basis.
5. Maintain accountability of all Players’ Bank deposits and withdrawals within the casino.
6. Micro-encode markers and credit line checks sent to the bank for collection.
7. Prepare daily bank deposits of checks.
8. Be responsible and accountable for Chips/Cash Fund as assigned during the shift.
9. Review surveillance tapes related to window shortages/overages when assigned by the Supervisor.
10. Work with minimal supervision in high-volume, team member-only windows of all cages.
11. Use equipment, supplies, and facilities economically.
12. Maintain a safe working area.
13. Be available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
14. Assist in training new employees as needed.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Pass mandatory screening, which may include background, credit check, and drug test.
• Obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment team member permit, badge, or license.
• Demonstrate basic math and financial skills.
• Work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
• Possess good organizational and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Excel in customer relations.

Education: High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent. An Associate’s degree is preferred.

Experience: At least one year of cash-handling experience.

Physical and Mental Requirements: Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodations.
