Job summary

TJFACT is seeking a Boat Maintenance Advisor to support the Department of State - INL/WHP at the U.S. Embassy, Ecuador - Consulate Guayaquil. The BMA will work with ECUNAV/COGAUR/Marines and ENP to provide expert boat maintenance guidance, training, and program development embedded full-time at COGAUR Headquarters.

The role requires 6–10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong Spanish/English communication, with emphasis on maintenance management and program support.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen, third country national, or local national.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 6–10 years of experience in technical maintenance and maintenance management.
• Knowledge of international narcotics and law enforcement programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft technical, programmatic, and funding memoranda for leadership input.
• Research and advise on program management and budgeting.
• Review policy documents and recommend program improvements.
• Assist strategic planning for INL maritime programs.
• Coordinate with US Navy/Coast Guard and regional partners.
• Provide maintenance guidance on interceptor vessels and equipment.
