Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
• Experience transitioning prototypes to production and managing complex programs.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the vehicle system, interfaces, and overall performance against requirements.
• Plan and execute vehicle system development across generations and production transitions.
• Manage the developmental budget and drive cost reduction while maintaining performance.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure adherence to design principles and issue resolution.
• Escalate decisions through the Maritime Chief Engineer when needed.
• Represent the vehicle system in leadership and customer meetings.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and align execution with product schedules.
• Collaborate with Production, Payloads, Mission Systems, Field Ops and Product Management.
• Drive platform-level trade studies for architectural updates.
• Mentor senior engineers toward platform leadership roles.
