Job summary

Blue Ops, the maritime division of Red Cat Holdings, seeks an Integration Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to assemble electrical, mechanical, and software subsystems on maritime platforms. You will install equipment, troubleshoot interfaces, verify system performance from bench testing to on-water trials, and contribute to rapid prototyping in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, systems, or related engineering discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in systems integration, hardware testing, robotics, or similar role.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must pass background check and obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Practical experience installing and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Working knowledge of DC power, wiring, Ethernet, and serial communications.
• Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Experience using electrical test equipment and documenting troubleshooting findings.

Responsibilities

• Integrate sensors, communications equipment, onboard computers, and supporting hardware onto vessels.
• Review equipment requirements and identify power, connectivity, mounting, and installation needs.
• Design and fabricate prototype mounts, brackets, adapters, and interfaces to meet evolving integration needs.
• Build, test, and refine integration solutions through rapid prototyping and feedback.
• Assemble, inspect, and troubleshoot wiring harnesses, low‑voltage power, and data connections.
• Configure equipment and diagnose issues across hardware, networking, and software interfaces.
• Prepare wiring diagrams, installation instructions, and interface documentation.
• Develop and execute test procedures; record results and verify corrective actions.
• Support bench testing, dockside checks, sea trials, and customer demonstrations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve technical questions.
