Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, systems, or related engineering field.
• 2–3 years in systems integration, hardware testing, robotics, or related role.
• U.S. citizenship; ability to pass background check and obtain DoD secret clearance.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of DC power, wiring, Ethernet, and serial communications.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings; document troubleshooting findings.
• Experience using electrical test equipment and documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Integrate sensors, communications gear, onboard computers, and hardware on vessels.
• Review requirements and identify power, connectivity, mounting, and installation needs.
• Design and fabricate prototype mounts and interfaces for rapid development.
• Build, test, and refine integration concepts; incorporate results and feedback.
• Assemble and troubleshoot wiring, power circuits, and data connections.
• Configure equipment and diagnose issues across hardware, networking, and software.
• Prepare wiring diagrams, installation instructions, and configurations.
• Develop and execute test procedures; record results and verify actions.
• Support bench tests, dockside checks, sea trials, and demonstrations.
• Coordinate with teams and suppliers to resolve technical questions and blockers.
