Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking an Auditor for Safety, Security, Quality and Environmental (SSQE) to join our on-site team in Miami, FL. The role supports auditing across shipboard and shore facilities to ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ISMCode and related standards.

The Auditor will verify implementation of the SQM system, coordinate findings with management, and provide training and guidance to staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college/university; minimum of three years of audit experience in the maritime industry.
• Maritime institution degree or related certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Management Systems and standards including ISO 9001/14001/50001 (and related) and international regulations.
• Very strong English writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct shipboard and shore side audits of SQM.
• Verify compliance with SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, ISMCode, ISPS, ISO standards.
• Assist in coordinating team activities and presenting audit results to management.
• Provide training to shipboard and shore side staff on audit topics.
• Track corrective/preventive actions and verify effectiveness.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting.
