The Steamship Authority is actively seeking a Maritime Project Manager to lead planning, budgeting, and execution of complex port and terminal projects. This full-time, non-union role oversees contract development, procurement, and coordination with consultants and contractors to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include developing bid documents, monitoring progress, inspecting facilities, and maintaining long-term project schedules.
The Steamship Authority is currently seeking to fill the position of Maritime Project Manager. This is a full-time, non-union position.
Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities related to specific projects for the Steamship Authority. Responsible for developing the budget specifications, plans, contracts, proposals and purchase orders for projects as assigned. Review and approve plans and specifications prepared by consultants. Administer and oversee contracts specific to each project from initial RFP development through completion. Ensure that the Steamship Authority complies with all applicable Massachusetts building codes and Handicapped Access Regulations and also the Department of Environmental Quality Engineering Rules and Regulations.
The salary range for this position is $116,700 to $150,550.
