Job summary

The Steamship Authority in Falmouth, MA is seeking a Maritime Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate complex projects. This full‑time, non‑union role involves budget development, contract administration, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will work with consultants and contractors, overseeing RFPs, bids, and project execution at multiple terminals and facilities. Required are a B.S.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Marine, Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineering License and/or PMP certification required.
  • 5–10 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop bid documents, negotiate, supervise, and coordinate performance and scheduling of contractors.
  • Coordinate with contractors for in-house and outside work.
  • Perform periodic inspections of terminals, buildings, docks and parking facilities.
  • Investigate causes and recommend corrective actions for docks and parking facilities.
  • Establish and maintain long-term planning schedules for special projects at terminals, buildings, docks and parking facilities.
  • Provide liaison with insurance underwriters for review and inspection of projects.

Professional Engineering License or PM

Education
