Job summary

Seasats in San Diego, CA seeks a Program Manager responsible for end-to-end project execution, owning the plan, schedule, budget, and customer relationships for contracts and government/military exercises.

You will coordinate matrixed teams across Engineering, Production, Fleet Operations, and Business Development, travel 25–35% for customer events, and serve as the primary customer liaison to ensure on-plan delivery.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Project/Program Manager on government contracts.
• Experience as a PM on either small engineering development projects or maritime operations contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
• Experience supporting proposal efforts by scoping cost, schedule, and technical approach.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a customer relationship and coordinate matrixed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the successful execution of external and internal projects, including contracts and military exercises.
• Manage customer contracts and ensure delivery against terms.
• Define project scope, schedule, and cost for proposals.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Track hours and expenditures to inform invoicing.
• Coordinate tasking of matrixed personnel across functions.
• Plan and conduct internal and external project meetings.
• Represent Seasats as the single point of contact on projects.
• Create and coordinate project documentation.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
