Job summary

Responsibilities include timecard validation, data integrity, and generating labor reports for audits and government contracts, whilst ensuring compliance with federal and maritime labor laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous payroll, accounting, or administrative experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/timekeeping systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and/or biweekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and contract employees.
• Review, verify, and enter timecards, job numbers, overtime, and shift differentials.
• Track labor hours by vessel, project, or work order for job costing and reporting.
• Maintain payroll records and confidential employee information.
• Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, per diem, and premiums.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with onboarding and processing terminations.
• Prepare payroll and labor reports for management, audits, and contracts.
