Job summary

Pro Staff is seeking a Maritime OT Lead to drive critical OT initiatives, cybersecurity, and fleet-wide technology. This remote, direct-hire role collaborates with Engineering, IT, Vessel Operations, and Safety teams to secure maritime operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years OT network experience in maritime or critical infrastructure, strong SCADA/PLC/HMI knowledge, and relevant certifications; ability to obtain DoD clearance; STCW/TWIC preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Maritime Studies, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting OT networks in maritime, offshore, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, industrial protocols, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience leading technical projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with maritime regulations, class society requirements, and cyber risk management frameworks.
• Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, PMP, CCNA/CCNP, or maritime-specific credentials preferred.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. DoD security clearance.
• Active STCW, TWIC, Passport, and Seaman's Record Book preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support maritime OT networks and related infrastructure.
• Lead OT network upgrades, migrations, and technology improvement projects with minimal downtime.
• Ensure compliance with maritime cybersecurity standards and IMO guidelines.
• Troubleshoot network and system issues; perform root-cause analysis; maintain fleet readiness.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, asset inventories, and cybersecurity procedures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Vessel Operations, and Safety teams for secure IT/OT integration.
