Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Director, Mission Insights, Maritime within Global Defense to shape allied maritime concepts and operation frameworks. You will translate partner-nation requirements into credible concepts of operation and coordinate with Anduril’s engineering and product teams.

Applicants should be a former U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer with Weapons and Tactics Instructor credentials, possess deep maritime warfighting expertise, and be able to brief senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Former U.S. Navy SWO with operational experience at sea.
• Designation as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) via SMWDC or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in maritime warfighting, multi-domain integration, surface warfare, IAMD, or MCM.
• Ability to translate complex tactical/technical problems into concise operational concepts for senior leaders.
• Exceptional public speaking, briefing, and technical writing; comfortable with foreign officials.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance (SSCI equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Define Allied Maritime CONEMPs and concepts of employment for partner navies.
• Bridge operational realities into Engineering & Product teams for design input.
• Conduct threat-informed analysis to evaluate systems in allied scenarios.
• Provide sales enablement tools and war-gaming outcomes for regional leads.
• Define mission frameworks for interoperability with US JADC2, NATO, and allied standards.
• Identify capability gaps for international co-development or U.S. production.
• Present strategy-to-execution messaging to international military and government stakeholders.
