Qualifications

• Maritime operational planning experience at unit/command level.
• Experience tactically employing autonomous systems (AUVs).
• Ability to brief and defend objectives before senior leaders.
• Decompose ambiguous problems into actionable strategies.
• Strong understanding of maritime missions and threat-informed planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; executive briefings.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Understand enterprise-level mission analysis for the maritime portfolio and communicate it across programs.
• Develop concepts of operation, employment, and use cases for current and future systems.
• Inform capability roadmaps, investment prioritization, and product-market fit.
• Analyze threat environments and translate context into capability priorities for teams.
• Compare approaches and assess trade-offs in utility, feasibility, and cost.
• Convert demonstrations and field results into portfolio-level lessons for roadmaps.
• Partner with analysts, engineers, operators, and leaders to align technical solutions with warfighting needs.
• Represent operational perspective in reviews and planning cycles.
