Job summary

Saronic Technologies is hiring an IT Technician to provide advanced technical support across IT systems and networks, ensuring the health of our IT infrastructure. The role covers desktop, server, printer, and mobile device support, with emphasis on troubleshooting and timely resolutions.

You will administer Active Directory and Office 365, perform routine maintenance, and mentor Tier 1 staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet security and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years in a technical support IT role with hardware, software, and networking experience.
• Experience with Windows and macOS, Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud services.
• Strong networking fundamentals and ability to document and communicate clearly.
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware, software, and network support for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues and ensure timely, effective resolutions.
• Assist with network configurations including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, security patches, and backups.
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud services.
• Mentor Tier 1 technicians and document resolutions in the helpdesk system.
• Collaborate with IT, sales, engineering, and product teams to align on objectives.
