Job summary

Danner’s Incorporated is seeking a Freight Dispatcher to join our 24/7 Maritime Freight Division in the United States. You will coordinate timely pickups and deliveries, communicate with drivers, customers, and management, and monitor job progress to keep freight moving smoothly.

This role requires calm under pressure, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. You will manage schedules, respond to inquiries, and ensure operations align with safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience in transportation or logistics.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and TWIC Card.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of maritime terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to calls, emails, and inquiries promptly.
• Schedule and dispatch drivers based on priorities.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries and communicate details to drivers and customers.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules as conditions change.
• Maintain accurate notes and documentation in dispatch systems.
• Provide timely updates to customers and resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and maritime procedures.
• Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
