Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a Field Test Engineer to join the Dive-XL Field Operations team. You will prepare for deployments, perform daily AUV inspections, and coordinate launch and recovery operations on demanding subsea tests.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade AUVs in the field, write reports, help develop procedures, and contribute to risk assessments. Travel up to 40-50% offshore and work in austere environments; eligibility for U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in field testing and integration of complex systems.
• Ability to work across hardware, software and networking interfaces.
• Willingness to travel internationally and offshore for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for field deployments by sourcing and kitting test equipment.
• Conduct daily AUV inspections and system checks before and after operations.
• Coordinate launch/recovery, run test ops, and write daily reports.
