Job summary

ProteQ, a professional services company, seeks a Field Service Engineer to support domestic and international field operations involving maritime systems, logistics, and project execution. You will plan, coordinate, and execute field logistics, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, customers, subcontractors, and logistics providers through all phases, reporting to the R&D and Field Support Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field or 6+ years maritime experience
• Experience planning and executing field logistics and maritime operations for DoD or commercial programs
• Familiarity with OSHA, NAVOSH, USCG, CFR requirements and safety-focused field operations
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended assignments

Responsibilities

• Identify customer requirements and develop logistics support strategies
• Coordinate field logistics and maritime operations across project lifecycle
• Develop Operations and Logistics Support Plans for domestic and international projects
• Coordinate transportation resources, vessel charters, port services, and cargo handling equipment
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and compliance with regulations
• Monitor shipment status and resolve logistics issues to protect project schedules
• Provide on-site safety oversight and ensure adherence to safety requirements
• Maintain records and prepare project status and after-action reports
