Foss Maritime in Seattle is seeking an Ordinary Seafarer to join our crew at our waterfront location. You will participate in towage operations, handle lines, and perform deck maintenance to keep vessels in top condition.

Candidates should bring seamanship skills, a team-first attitude, and readiness for travel as needed. Required credentials include TWIC, USCG MMD/MMC, and STCW Basic Training, with a union membership or ability to join upon hire.

Qualifications

• TWIC credential is required.
• US Coast Guard MMD or MMC is required.
• STCW Basic Training is required.
• Valid identification for travel is required.
• Must be a current member of the Union or able to join upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Tie knots, splice lines and wire, and handle large diameter lines.
• Assist with line handling and rigging during tow.
• Perform basic deck maintenance (chipping, painting, cleaning).
• Clean common areas to prevent spread of illnesses.
• Assist Mate and/or Captain as required.
