Job summary

Moran Towing Corporation’s Moran Baltimore location seeks a Deckhand to support deck operations, docking, mooring, and vessel maintenance. This temporary/seasonal role reports to the Captain and Mate, with emphasis on safety and operational efficiency in a marine environment.

Qualified mariners must have MMC or apply within 60 days, TWIC, STCW if required, USCG 719k medical certification, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• MMC credential or MMC within 60 days of start date.
• TWIC required.
• STCW certification as required for service.
• USCG 719k medical certification.
• Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all lawful orders.
• Report unsafe situations or opportunities for improvement.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Act as lookout as required.
• Work on deck including ship docking and tug mooring operations.
• Conduct engine room rounds as required.
• Maintain vessel and equipment.
