Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience or familiarity with payroll and timekeeping in unionized environments.
• Solid knowledge of HR compliance and EEO policies.
• Maritime industry background strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the Marine Personnel Department including recruiting, scheduling, crewing and time-entry.
• Review time-entry validity relative to union agreements and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Coordinate with HR, Labor Relations and Payroll to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage vessel visitations, training schedules and licensing records.
• Maintain relationships with payroll, HR and operations to resolve personnel issues.
