Responsibilities

• Review and process merchant mariner applications for MMCs and endorsements.
• Verify receipt of general application requirements.
• Evaluate applications to confirm professional requirements are met.
• Recommend issuance of MMCs and endorsements for qualified applicants.
• Determine if AI or medical review is required.
• Apply Government training changes and instructions.
