Job summary

Truestone, LLC is hiring a Shipboard Installation Technician (Level II) to support maritime C4I systems installation and integration on naval and shore-based projects in Suffolk, VA. The role requires flexibility to work across multiple programs and pass DoD background checks.

You will perform cable routing, terminations, testing, and documentation, ensuring compliance with NAVSEA standards while coordinating with program managers and site leads.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED and 2-4 years of progressive C4I shipboard integration or electronics maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic cable running, stuffing tubes, multi-pin/coax/CAT6 terminations, and hand/power tool operation in an industrial maritime setting.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Execute physical installation, removal, modification, and testing of shipboard C4I, electronic, and electrical systems per NAVSEA standards.
• Perform cable pulling, device termination, rack populating, cable routing and labeling for inside plant networks.
• Assist in system evaluations, power checks, continuity tests, fiber/copper testing, and troubleshooting on naval systems.
• Flex between programs within the MIT group according to schedules and milestones.
• Enforce site EAP, OSHA maritime standards, tag-out procedures and environmental hazard precautions.
• Maintain daily logs and report progress to site leads and Program Managers.
